• Next, take the Katakolon Fun Tourist Train for a scenic ride through the countryside, where you can see green hills, vineyards, olive groves and typical villages. The train will take you to three stops: Agios Andreas beach, Mercouri winery and Kourouta beach

• At Agios Andreas beach, you can enjoy the clear blue water and the sandy shore. You can also practice some golf shots at the beach golf course, where you can rent clubs and balls for a small fee.

• At Mercouri winery, you can taste some of the finest wines of the region, made from local grapes and aged in oak barrels. You can also learn about the history and production of wine at the museum and the cellar

• At Kourouta beach, you can relax on the sunbeds and umbrellas, or swim in the warm sea. You can also find many bars and restaurants along the beach, where you can have a delicious lunch or a refreshing drink.

• Finally, take the train back to Katakolon port where you can catch your cruise ship or explore more of the town.
